Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 6, 2026
This policy describes how Ryan at Empathy Lifts handles information through mycutrate.com, the CutRate calculator, The Last Cut coaching application, related Facebook and Instagram inquiries, and purchases connected to these services.
Information you provide
Depending on what you use or request, we collect:
- Contact and inquiry details: your name, email, phone number, Instagram handle, city, messages and answers you submit through a form or conversation.
- Fitness and application information: age, sex, height, weight, body-composition estimates, training, activity, nutrition, sleep, progress, goals, obstacles, preferred start timing and coaching preferences. This includes calculator results and answers about your readiness for coaching.
- Communication choices: your consent selections, submission time and records of communications.
- Purchase information: the service purchased, amount, payment status, transaction identifiers and contact details. Payment details are entered through Stripe Checkout. Some calculator checkout links also pass calculator results and visit identifiers to Stripe to connect the purchase with your requested service.
Site activity and browser storage
The site records visits and actions such as calculator completion, resource requests, application starts, submissions and purchases. Records can include page and referral information, timestamps, campaign and ad identifiers, browser information and visit identifiers. Calculator activity records can include the goal and result category even if you do not request a resource.
Cookies and browser storage help connect steps in a visit and measure advertising. Browser storage can also retain an unsent resource request for retry. Clearing browser storage does not delete information already submitted to our systems.
How the information is used
We use information to calculate your results, send resources you request, respond to inquiries, review coaching fit, provide purchased services, manage payments and service delivery, maintain communication records, and measure and improve advertising. Website activity can also help build advertising audiences, including audiences for ads shown to previous visitors on Facebook or Instagram.
Services that process information
- Netlify hosts the site and processes form requests, operational records and measurement data.
- HighLevel (GoHighLevel) stores contact details, calculator and application information, notes and communications, and supports replies, requested resource delivery and service workflows.
- Stripe processes checkout and payments and provides transaction records used for fulfillment and reporting.
- Meta, including Facebook and Instagram, processes conversations and answers submitted on its platforms. The website also uses Meta Pixel and server-side advertising events. These can include page activity, resource requests, application submissions, purchase details, IP or browser information, advertising identifiers and hashed contact identifiers used to match events. Hashing is a matching technique; it does not make the information anonymous. Calculator numbers and written application answers are not included in the website's custom advertising-event fields.
- Trainerize and Zapier support app access and fulfillment where these are part of the service purchased.
- Google Fonts supplies fonts on the calculator and application pages, which creates a request from your browser to Google's servers.
These services process information under their own terms and privacy policies as well as the settings used for our services. When you submit information directly through Instagram, Facebook or Stripe, their platform policies also apply.
Your choices and privacy requests
The calculator shows results without requiring a resource signup. Resource delivery and coaching applications ask for the communication consent shown beside the form. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. Use the unsubscribe link in marketing emails to stop those emails.
You can control cookies and site storage through your browser and advertising preferences through your Meta account. Browser controls do not necessarily stop server-side reporting of information you have already submitted.
To ask about information we hold, request a correction or deletion, or discuss communication preferences, message @empathy_lifts on Instagram and identify your message as a privacy request. Please do not send payment-card details or sensitive fitness records in the initial request.
